I Wrote This Because I Love You (some things you may have missed)

Posted on April 11, 2011

I am a firm believer that there is nothing that we have that we have not received. I am also a firm believer that what we have received should be shared for the building up of the house of God. We do not live as islands unto ourselves.

In January of this past year (2011), I began blogging on a consistent basis. Why have I done this? Quite simply, I have done this because I love you. I love Christ, and you are His body and His expression here on the earth. As His body, I must admit that you are quite beautiful.

With all my heart, I want to freely pass on to you what I have received for the purpose of the building up of the body of Christ. One of several ways that I am able to pass on what I have received is through writing. It is certainly not the only way, but an important way for me. When God builds His house, He employs a variety of different methods. He tears down crumbling structures, uproots false foundations, lays a pure foundation of Jesus Christ, and assembles building materials for the structure. As a result, many of the articles that I write contain these elements of tearing down and building up.

Some of you are subscribers to the blog, so you have probably received most of the articles posted to the blog to date. Many of you have not yet subscribed to the blog however, and as a result, you may have missed some of these articles.

In case you have missed any of these articles, I wanted to include here for you a list of the top 8 blog posts that received the most amount of hits. There is a reason these blog posts received a lot of attention. My heart is that every Western Christian would become familiar with these concepts. Take some time to click on the links below and read these articles. Also, feel free to share these with your own social networks as you are led:
